The different types of horizontal packer
At Sermatec, we offer three main categories of flowpack horizontal packersto precisely match your process:
- Low reel - top seal machines: the reel is positioned under the machine and the film is sealed on the top side. Ideal for fragile or irregular products, these machines provide extra protection and neat packaging.
- High reel - bottom seal machines: the reel is placed high up, and the film is sealed from below. This format is suitable for compact or rigid products, with stable film transport.
- Modified atmosphere machines: equipped with accompanying jaws and gas injection, they extend the shelf life of fresh products by creating a protective environment. These machines are also available in high or low reel versions, depending on your requirements.

SEH 095 flowpack horizontal packer
La SEH 095 is a upper coil machine - lower weldwith wash-down option, designed for speeds of up to 350 packs per minute and a maximum product width of 200 mm.
It operates continuously, equipped with motorised reel mandrels, a motorised longitudinal welding unit and transverse steel jaws. Sturdiness, easy cleaning and ergonomics are its strengths.
SEH 025 flowpack horizontal packer
La SEH 025 is a modified atmosphere packaging machinewith high or low reel, with accompanying jaws and adjustable speed (continuous or intermittent) up to 60 packs per minute.
It can handle products up to 350 mm wide, with reels up to 920 mm long, and boasts a sleek design: brushless motor, automatic reel splice, photocell and stainless steel housing.
SEH 021 BB flowpack horizontal packer
La SEH 021 BB is a low coil machine - top weldContinuous, with a speed of 150 packs per minute and a product width of up to 250 mm.
It features accompanying jaws or grippers, a precision brushless motor and a hygienic stainless steel construction, particularly suited to fragile or demanding products.
