Semi-automatic

Secondary packaging is a crucial stage in the packaging of many products. For manufacturers looking for performance and reliability, thesemi-automatic cartoner represents an ideal solution, combining mechanical precision with controlled human intervention.

Designed to optimise the packaging process while retaining a degree of flexibility, this machine fits perfectly into medium-sized production lines or in a context of evolving production.

ETPACK, a recognised specialist in the manufacture and installation of packaging solutions, offers a range of robust, efficient semi-automatic cartoners tailored to the requirements of a wide range of industries. Find out why this type of machine is an asset to your production line.

How does a semi-automatic cartoner work?

Semi-automatic cartoner is used to fill products into cardboard cartons, while allowing the operator to retain control over certain stages of the process. Its operation is based on a structured sequence of tasks, combining partial automation and manual intervention.

In practical terms, the operator manually positions the products to be packaged on the loading station. The machine then takes over to open the cartons, insert the product inside (thanks to a controlled push system) and close the pack by mechanical interlocking or gluing, depending on the type of closure planned (notches, hot-melt glue, etc.). Some versions also allow the flaps to be pre-glued, or partially closed for subsequent packaging.

The models offered by ETPACK are designed to ensure that products are held securely during the cartoning cycle. Featuring intuitive controls, they offer ease of use and excellent repeatability, reducing the risk of errors or damage to products. What's more, they take up very little space, making them easy to integrate into existing production lines.

What products can be cartoned using a semi-automatic cartoner?

One of the great advantages of a semi-automatic cartoner is its versatility. It can be used to pack products of different shapes and sizes, provided the case is suitable. This flexibility makes it ideal for a wide range of industrial sectors.
