How a vertical bagging machine works

Used for small and light products, the vertical bagging machine differs from the horizontal bagging machine in that it passes from top to bottom, allowing final packaging from the bottom. This packaging is made from reel film, for an aesthetic and resistant result.

Simple in principle, it achieves a highly satisfactory output for packaging products from the food, non-food, pharmaceutical and para-pharmaceutical industries.

The vertical bagger is an automated machine. Once the settings have been completed, it carries out the packaging operation according to the parameters defined by the user.

Cushion bag

The pillow bag is a very popular form of packaging because it is easy to store and transport. It is also a recyclable type of packaging.

With SERMATEC's SEV PS40 or SEV PS40C vertical bagging machine, your production capacity will be 80 to 120 pillow bags per minute. Need much more? Opt for the SEV PS25C vertical bagging machine, which offers a production rate of up to 180 bags per minute.

Flat-bottomed bag

The flat-bottom sachet is popular for its ease of use. They are ideal for containing food, pharmaceutical and para-pharmaceutical products over long periods.

The SEV PS450 and SEV PS600 vertical bagging machines described above can produce this type of packaging at speeds of 50 to 85 bags, depending on your configuration.

What's special about this type of pouch? It retains the simplicity of manufacture and use of the flat-bottom pouch, while offering better protection against light, odours, steam, humidity and more, thanks in particular to the sealing at the four corners of the pouch.
